Our Why

From the time that I was a little girl I was the biggest Tomboy, but boy, did I love beauty. I was always into skin & hair. As I got older the science behind skincare was my go-to. I was so fascinated with it. 

Our skin is our first line of defense when it comes to the outside world; it protects us from the sun, wind, rain, and snow. It prevents germs from entering your body, and it truly is the body’s largest organ. As I was learning the science behind our skin, I came to realize how important it is to take care of your skin, but how misunderstood that was. There are so many options for products that you may often stare at the shelves in the store wondering what you specifically need for your skin. 

But it’s not so cut and dry. As I studied, I realized that what’s out there isn’t going to work for everyone and, in some cases, the product is completely unnecessary. Your skin is unique to you, and has stood the test of your life. It’s seen wrinkles and acne and dry skin. It’s made of billions of individual cells. So it’s our job to treat our skin with care.

But you may not know where to go from here. The internet says one thing, and the beauty consultant at the mall says another. You want and need someone to look at you, know the science, analyze your skin, and tell you what you need and don’t need. You don’t want to be sold products that waste your time. 

This is why I was so passionate about starting my own skincare line. When you know the science behind both your skin and your skincare products, it’s a match made in heaven.
